2015 MSSNY CME WEBINARS

The Medical Society of the State of New York will host a live educational webinar on February 24, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. on HIV Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention. The webinar will be conducted by William Valenti, MD, chair of MSSNY Infectious Disease Committee. Dr. Valenti serves on Governor Andrew Cuomo’s “Task Force to End the Epidemic 2020” and is co-chair of the Task Force’s clinical care committee.
Educational objectives are:
  • Apply diagnosis and treatment for all HIV infected individuals;
  • Become familiar with the key points of new HIV testing laws and understand the provisions of the HCV law;
  • Implement the new HIV testing algorithm;
  • Describe the activities that can bring HIV to sub-epidemic proportions and result in individual and community viral load suppression.
  • Physicians can register for the webinars by going to mssny.webex.com and select “Upcoming” tab. Click “Register” at the right of the program you wish to enroll in.
The webinars will be held Tuesdays all starting at 7:30 a.m. on the following dates on March 10 and March 24th. The Medical Society of the State of New York designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA/PRA Category 1 credit™.
